Dr. Jason Wingard

Executive Coach

Dr. Jason Wingard is a distinguished executive, advisor, and academic with over 25 years of leadership experience across the private and public sectors. He has managed budgets exceeding $3 billion and overseen teams of over 15,000 personnel. Dr. Wingard currently serves as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Harvard University, Executive Chairman of the Education Board, Inc., and Senior Advisor at Social Finance Institute. Previously, he was the 12th President of Temple University and a tenured professor.

Dr. Wingard’s notable roles include Dean of Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, Chief Learning Officer at Goldman Sachs, and Vice Dean of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also led organizations including the ePals Foundation and Stanford Educational Leadership Institute.

An acclaimed thought leader, Dr. Wingard has authored award-winning books, The College Devaluation Crisis, The Great Skills Gap, and Learning to Succeed.  He is a Forbes contributor, keynote speaker for Fortune 100 companies, and a media commentator. His governance roles span corporate and nonprofit boards, including Kroll, Inc., Advanced Materials Technology, and JUST Capital.

Dr. Wingard earned his BA from Stanford, MA from Emory, EdM from Harvard, and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on organizational strategy and leadership.
